GERMS is a peer-reviewed English infectious disease journal, published quarterly (March, June, September, December) by the Association for Improving the Visibility of Scientific Research (ACVCS), and recognized by the Romanian National Institute of Infectious Diseases "Prof. Dr. Matei Bal š" and the European Academy of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Diseases. This journal aims to provide health, social, and educational professionals with the highest standards of knowledge and practice in the field of human infectious diseases. The articles published in this journal cover a wide range of topics and describe research achievements in all fields related to microbiology, including but not limited to prevention, pathogenesis, clinical description, best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of human infectious diseases, microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, public health, evaluation of existing and new therapies, and the latest developments in infectious diseases.
