摘要:The purpose of this study is to investigate and compare Iranian and Chinese EFL learners’ perceptual learning styles with their age, gender, and years of study English.The total sample of the subjects including 331 EFL learners(46. 5 % Chinese and 53. 5 % Iranian), filled the Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire(PLSPQ). Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis showed that Iranian EFL learners are more visual and auditory, while Chinese EFL learners prefer tactile and kinesthetic styles. The study results regarding ages and degrees( Masters and Bachelors) revealed that older learners and students of a Master degree prefer more perceptual learning styles. Also, there is no significant difference of scores of the scale found between females and males. At the end some implication is considered.
